Description	This proposal provides continuity to the previous project 2018-U013. The main objective of the project was to assess, in a preliminary manner, the tidal energy potential in the Las Perlas archipelago, through low-cost measurement campaigns. In the first phase (12–19 December 2018), 10 measurements were carried out in low tide conditions (approx. 2 m amplitude). The new proposal includes a second measurement campaign to characterize the complete hydrodynamics with opposite amplitude conditions. In parallel, it is proposed to continue the nautical training of the young local population, who participate as pilots in the navigation courses, but without prior knowledge of maritime safety.
