Hydrodynamic coastal and estuarine

Study of the most relevant hydrodynamic processes in the coastal area and estuaries. Among the phenomena studied theoretically and experimentally, the turbulence in the surf zone, the wave propagation, and the circulation of currents stand out for their importance. The most commonly used study techniques are three-dimensional numerical modeling, the development of conceptual models, field and laboratory measurements, and image processing.
