Two specialisations are offered, and the programme is jointly coordinated by the UB and the UPC. Master’s Degree in Water Engineering The Master’s Degree in Water Engineering trains professionals with a multidisciplinary perspective for the design, management and modelling of hydraulic and environmental infrastructures, preparing them to advise administrations, companies and institutions at all levels. Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering The Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering qualifies graduates to practise as naval and ocean engineers, training professionals in the design, construction and management of ships, platforms and other maritime systems. It also provides training in maritime business management and the sustainable use of ocean resources. Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering The Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering provides advanced training in the design, planning, construction, management and maintenance of infrastructure and civil works. It prepares professionals to address complex projects in areas such as structures, transport, water, territorial planning and urban infrastructure, incorporating criteria of innovation, sustainability and resilience. Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Risk Assessment and Management of Civil Infrastructures The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Risk Assessment and Management of Civil Infrastructures (NoRISK) trains professionals specialised in infrastructure risk analysis and management, offering multidisciplinary training and a strong international dimension through a consortium of four European universities. Erasmus Mundus Master’s Degree in Coastal and Maritime Engineering and Management (CoMEM+) The Master’s Degree in Coastal and Maritime Engineering and Management trains professionals to address the challenges of climate change and coastal risks, preparing them to develop sustainable, ethical and socially responsible management strategies for coastal areas.
