Research Projects

The Maritime Engineering Laboratory (LIM) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya is a national and international reference centre in applied research in the maritime and coastal fields. Through our competitive research and development projects (R&D&I), we lead innovative solutions to the major challenges of the climate crisis, coastal management, coastal resilience, and the sustainability of maritime transport.

This section presents the projects funded through competitive calls (both European, national, and institutional) in which the LIM team participates. Each project represents our commitment to scientific excellence, social impact, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
