Integrated Coastal Infrastructures for Experimentation and Modelling

The iCIEM brings together a set of facilities that are unique in Europe and dedicated to research and experimentation in coastal and maritime engineering. All infrastructures are managed by the Maritime Engineering Laboratory (LIM/UPC) and integrated within the ICTS MARHIS.

Maritime Research and Experimentation Flume. Large-scale flume for the study of waves, currents and their interaction with structures.

Medium-scale flume designed for the study of coastal processes and the assessment of the behaviour of maritime structures through physical models under controlled conditions.
